Marathon, as a sports
reunion where amateur
runners and athletes compete
fairly along the serene,
challenging, rigorous paved
terrains of the Sinai high
ranges over 1550 M, above
sea level, one of the
highest and most imposing
plateaus of o9ur country,
and where in the backdrop
stands in grandeur the
renowned Mount Sinai to
witness the stream of
runners following the same
trails traversed long ago by
many other nations… in this
very unique setting where a
peaceful and tolerant co
existence between different
faiths, cultures , races is
perceivably proven…. Our
Marathon takes place ….
It is simply a call urges to
run for peace which was
initiated some years ago by
Pronto Tours, an event aims
to shed more light and focus
on this unique part of Egypt
which is highly regarded as
a sacred soil for many
believers and to highlight
the swatch of its natives in
their continuing
collaboration and peaceful
co existence with Sinai
hermits over centuries to
our present day.. A true
extended history of peace
and tolerance.
